I always tell families that if a session together doesn’t feel a little chaotic, we’re probably not doing it right - and I believe that in my bones! Trust the magic of just letting your family be. I'm not here for your next posed Christmas card. I'm honestly very over that narrative for family sessions, if I'm being honest.
This session is yours. We aren’t confined by time limits, diapers changes, toddler meltdowns, or really any preconceived notion of what it means to capture your family, as is. Each session is customized to fit exactly what we need to document this season of life authentically. Starting at $350.

adding a little nostalgia

I picked up my dads old canon point and shoot a few years back and threw some 35mm film in there to capture life every day with my kids and fell in love with the outcome. Since then, I’ve really grown to love film and the journey to learn how to shoot film manually. In a world where we can have almost anything delivered to us within hours, the excitement and giddiness of waiting to see what we captured together while the film is being developed is, for me, one of lifes hidden joys. I shoot film because I enjoy it, not because social media has made it super trendy, and I believe that the depth it adds to your final gallery and the story we tell is really special.

I have had the pleasure of working with Jill for both newborn photos and a Christmas mini session for our now 1 year old, and I cannot express enough how much of a true joy she is to work with.

From the initial consultation to receiving the link to the gallery (and everything in between - outfit recommendations, climbing on things to get "the shot", making whatever sound is necessary to crack a smile, etc.), Jill radiates warmth and approachability. She effortlessly created a comfortable atmosphere during both sessions, making it easy for us to relax and actually enjoy taking photos... which is not an easy task.

We are so grateful for the beautiful memories Jill has preserved for us and we wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking to capture the joy of any season of life. Thanks for everything Jill! We can't wait until our next session :)
